After auto updating, Messenger added itself to startup and now launches a window every time you start up your system. This is not ok, but I expect that kind of non consensual invasion from facebook; however, it should NOT be permitted by microsoft.
It's a security risk, on top of being morally abhorrent. This must be addressed. I tried to submit a review on the microsoft store but the system is so broken that my review wont even submit successfully it says "you cannot review this because you do not own this product" even while it's installed and running on my system - another failure , so there's no way to even publish these concerns as a user.
This is deeply troubling. Everyone needs to go into the Microsoft store and report this app for privacy violations and malware. Hoover over "Messenger", than go over to "Preferences" and click on it.
