May 22nd, , PM misfitsailor. I bought the Yoshi slip-on, then soon after bought the Yoshi full system. I can't tell the difference in sound between them. Yoshi mufflers have a noise reducer that slips in. Without it, you can wake the dead.
With the insert in place, it sounds louder than stock, but not annoying. The slip-on gives you more noise, the full system gives you more power! May 24th, , PM justinocean. May 24th, , PM ninjar May get away with shimming the needles with 2 washers. Full system, you have too the bike will go lean and destroy a head or engine. Jet kit definitely needed. May 25th, , PM Bob I have both. One bike with a full system and one with just a slip on. Most people would say they can't tell.
Trying to explain it online isn't soo easy. May 27th, , PM justinocean. Originally Posted by Bob May 27th, , PM Bob I will say I absolutely love the sound of my full system. Just like what you stated above , that's why the other bike got the exact kind of slip-on.
Wether or not you need to shim needles or etc That's up to you As far as sound goes , yes , it's great. Performance , I don't know. My full system "feels" stronger. May 28th, , PM kennetht. Of course how can you know if you have nothing to compare it to. May 31st, , AM kennetht.

It took a bit of persuading to get it in the end of the canister and lined up with the hole for the 6mm hex head screw that's provided to hold it in place. I used a 6mm bolt instead. I thought it should be included with just the TRC canister also. Honda Ruckus Yoshimura Exhaust. If you're looking for serious performance, you came to the right place. Stock full system weight : Yoshimura honda ruckus stainless steel exhaust is a great performance upgrade for the stock 50cc honda ruckus engine. Doing so will only make your engine sound louder and reduce restriction in your motorcycle exhaust back pressure. Replace the mufflers. Upgrade to better mufflers.
Try wrapping the pipes. Invest in motorcycle exhaust silencer. Switch to new pipes. You can modify the exhaust on an older vehicle easily without having to buy any expensive parts. Cut the exhaust pipe with an angle grinder where the exhaust pipe meets the muffler coming out of the engine. Cut the hangers on the disconnected pipe with the angle grinder and remove the excess pipe. Add a sound-amplifying exhaust tip. The shape and width of the exhaust tip can slightly change the sound to be either more throaty larger tips or raspy smaller tips.
Double-walled muffler tips tend to add a full-bodied sound. On their own, though, muffler tips will have a minimal effect on exhaust sound.
